1. Cost Accounting & Cost of Sales (Verify & Categorize)- Cost Verification & Allocation: Review and verify all cost components, direct/indirect expenses, and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) to ensure proper categorization and compliance with Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS) and internal group policies.- Variance Analysis: Monitor monthly cost fluctuations, inventory valuations, and cost allocations, identifying discrepancies and coordinating with internal teams (e.g., procurement, logistics) to resolve issues.- Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations between inventory ledgers, GL accounts, and cost statement reports.2 General Accounting- Review and approve general ledger journal entries, payment vouchers, and account reconciliations prepared by junior staff to ensure accuracy and timeliness.3 Tax Compliance & Statutory Reporting (VAT & WHT)- Tax Filing Review: Oversee the preparation and accuracy of monthly tax returns, including Value Added Tax (VAT - PP 30/PP 36) and Withholding Tax (WHT - PND 1, 3, 53).- Tax Consultation: Provide expert advice to team members and internal departments regarding Thai tax regulations, correct tax rates, and deductibility of expenses.- Tax Audit & Liaison: Assist in managing tax audits, queries, and document submissions to the Revenue Department of Thailand, ensuring tax risks are minimized.
