Responsible for managing and overseeing all accounting and financial functions of an automotive parts manufacturing/assembly plant, including tax planning, financial reporting, and production cost control (Cost Accounting) in accordance with accounting standards and applicable laws. Manage the accounting team to support company growth. Has 5 direct reports.Key Responsibilities:- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual month-end close processes to ensure accuracy and timely completion.- Prepare and review financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) for management and relevant government agencies.- Review accounting entries including accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and fixed assets.- Control and analyze production cost accounting (standard costing and actual costing) for the automotive industry.- Perform variance analysis for cost differences (e.g., materials, labor, manufacturing overhead) and recommend cost-reduction measures.- Plan, prepare, and manage the annual budget in coordination with management and production.- Manage tax planning and compliance (e.g., corporate tax filings and withholding taxes) in accordance with tax laws.- Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities to ensure smooth audits and compliance.- Oversee tax incentives and investment-related tax benefits such as BOI incentives, if applicable.- Lead and develop the accounting team, improve internal controls, define and track accounting KPIs, and coordinate ERP usage (e.g., SAP, Oracle, AX) with other factory departments.
