The Manager leads the team in coordinating documentation, liaising with customs and relevant authorities, resolving issues, and continuously improving processes. This position plays a key role in strengthening customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and the company’s credibility as a reliable logistics service provider.- Lead and manage the daily operations of the Ocean Customs Clearance Team.- Ensure accurate and timely submission of import/export declarations (LCL, FCL, special cargo).- Review and verify customs documentation, HS codes, tariff classifications, and tax calculations.- Monitor shipment status, troubleshoot clearance issues, and provide solutions to avoid delays.- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, government laws, and company SOPs.- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement operational efficiency initiatives.- Prepare reports, analyze operational data, and support management in decision-making.- Provide support for customs-related matters handled by other branches.- Guide team members, foster their growth, and enhance overall customs clearance capabilities.
