The Enterprise Architect (EA) is responsible for defining, maintaining, and governing the enterprise architecture for a non-life insurance organization. This role ensures alignment between business strategy and IT capabilities, covering business, application, data, and technology architecture to support digital transformation, scalability, regulatory compliance, and customer-centric operations.Enterprise Architecture & Strategy- Define and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap for non-life insurance operations, including policy administration, underwriting, claims, and customer service- Align enterprise architecture with business strategy and digital transformation initiatives- Lead modernization of core insurance systems and legacy platformsBusiness & IT Alignment- Work closely with business leaders to support product lifecycle processes (issuance, renewal, endorsement, cancellation)- Collaborate with underwriting, claims, actuarial, and operations teams to streamline workflows and enable data-driven decision-makingApplication & Technology Architecture- Design application architecture for core systems such as policy, claims, and underwriting platforms- Oversee system integrations using APIs, microservices, and middleware- Drive cloud adoption (hybrid or cloud-native) to enhance scalability and agilityData & Analytics Architecture- Design data architecture supporting risk management, fraud detection, and real-time analytics- Implement data governance and master data management (MDM) practices- Support data lake and data warehouse strategiesInnovation & Digital Enablement- Identify and evaluate digital solutions such as customer portals and mobile applications- Assess emerging technologies (AI/ML, IoT, blockchain) for underwriting, claims, and customer engagement- Collaborate with InsurTech partners on pilot projects and innovation initiativesGovernance, Compliance & Security- Establish enterprise architecture governance and standards across IT projects- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g. data privacy, insurance regulations)- Work with security and compliance teams to safeguard customer and business dataSolution Oversight & Performance Optimization- Provide architectural guidance to solution architects and project teams- Review and approve solution designs for scalability, performance, and interoperability- Monitor architecture KPIs and continuously optimize systems and processes

1. IT Strategy & Governance- Define IT strategy and roadmap aligned with the company’s logistics and 3PL business strategy- Plan, manage, and control IT budgets (CAPEX and OPEX)- Establish IT policies, standards, and governance frameworks- Report IT performance, risks, and improvement plans to senior management2. Logistics Systems & Applications- Oversee and enhance core logistics systems including WMS, TMS, ERP, Fleet Management, Barcode/RFID- Work closely with Operations teams to align IT systems with warehouse and transportation processes- Manage system integration with customers and partners (EDI, API, system interfaces)3. IT Infrastructure & Cloud- Manage IT infrastructure including networks, servers, cloud platforms, data centers, and end-user devices- Ensure system capacity, performance, and high availability to support 24/7 logistics operations- Maintain data backup systems and business continuity / disaster recovery plans (BCP/DRP)4. Information Security & Compliance- Establish and enforce cybersecurity, data protection, and access control policies in compliance with PDPA- Support security and audit requirements such as CTPAT and ISO 27001 (if applicable)- Manage IT risks and lead incident response activities5. People & Vendor Management- Lead, coach, and develop the IT team (IT Support, System, Network, Application)- Enhance team capabilities with strong understanding of logistics and operational processes- Select, manage, and evaluate external vendors and IT service providers6. Digital Transformation & Continuous Improvement- Drive digital transformation initiatives including automation, system enhancement, data analytics, and reporting- Improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize human error through technology- Support continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse and transportation operations
