  • Job Description

    • Explore and assess new potential pineapple farming areas across sub-districts, districts, and provinces.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local growers, distributors, and agricultural stakeholders.
    • Serve as the primary contact point between the company and new or existing pineapple growers.
    • Collect, organize, and maintain visual and spatial data (e.g., maps, charts, field imagery) on pineapple productivity by location.
    • Prepare comprehensive reports detailing farm productivity, crop cycles, harvesting periods, and seasonal patterns across regions.
    • Analyze and forecast pineapple supply on micro (farm-level) and macro (regional-level) scales to support raw material planning.
    • Monitor and analyze key environmental and economic factors (e.g., weather, soil health, market trends) that influence crop yield.
    • Develop productivity prediction models and advise on sourcing strategies to align with manufacturing and business goals.
    • Support cross-functional teams with data and insights for business planning, investment analysis, and risk mitigation.
    • Assist in the implementation and education of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) with new growers as needed.
    • Collaborate with the procurement, production, and quality teams to align field data with operational requirements.
    • Maintain a central database or dashboard of field performance data to support real-time decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, Agricultural Economics, or a related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in field development, agricultural research, or crop productivity planning—experience in pineapple or tropical fruit cultivation is preferred.
    • Strong understanding of crop cycles, farming systems, and environmental impact factors.
    • Proficiency in GIS tools, satellite imagery analysis, and agricultural data visualization platforms is an advantage.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in agricultural forecasting and data modeling.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with local farmers and cross-functional internal teams.
    • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in the field.
    • Willingness to travel extensively to farming areas and conduct on-site evaluations.
