  • Job Description

    • Define strategies, policies, and oversee the overall management of non-motor claims in alignment with the company’s objectives.
    • Supervise the end-to-end claims process, including claim notification, assessment, approval, and settlement, ensuring accuracy, fairness, and timeliness.
    • Manage and lead the non-motor claims team across various lines of business such as Property, Fire, Engineering, Liability, Travel, and other non-motor insurance.
    • Enhance operational processes and service standards to deliver efficiency, transparency, and superior customer satisfaction.
    • Monitor and control claim reserves to ensure adequacy and compliance with financial standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., OIC).
    • Collaborate with other departments, including Underwriting, Legal, Actuarial, and Reinsurance, to support claim-related matters.
    • Analyze claims data, track claim ratios, and prepare strategic reports and insights for senior management.
    • Manage claim expenses and risks effectively to optimize profitability and protect the company’s financial performance.
    • Represent the company in claim negotiations and disputes, while building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and regulators.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    【Must】
    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law, Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 10–15 years of experience in non-life insurance claims
    • In-depth expertise in non-motor claims, including Property, Fire, Engineering, Liability, Travel, and other related lines.
    • Strong knowledge of insurance law, claim regulations, and compliance requirements (e.g., OIC).
    • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
    • Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to lead large and diverse teams effectively.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration across internal teams and external stakeholders.
    • Professional certifications (e.g., ANZIIF, CII, or OIC license) will be considered an advantage.
