  Job Purpose
  • Responsible for the quality control aspects of raw materials, production, finished products, and quality measuring tools.
  
  Responsibilities
  
  • Plan, coordinate, and direct quality control and quality assurance programs to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards.
  • Analyze causes of defects and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine current standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectations for finished products.
  • Formulate and maintain quality control objectives complementary to corporate policies and goals.
  • Create and implement inspection criteria and procedures.
  • Coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
  • Provide inspection activities for products throughout the production cycle.
  • Manage calibration of inspection tools and equipment.
  • May investigate and address customer complaints regarding quality.
  • Other duties assigned by supervisors or top management in accordance with regulations and manuals.
