Production Planning and Coordination:- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and deadlines.- Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and quality control teams to ensure seamless production flow.- Monitor and manage production progress, making adjustments as necessary to maintain output levels.Team Leadership and Development:- Lead, motivate, and manage the production team, ensuring high levels of performance and morale.- Provide training, mentorship, and support to production staff to enhance skills and productivity.- Conduct regular performance reviews and support employee development.Process Optimization and Improvement:- Identify areas for process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain product quality.- Implement lean manufacturing techniques and best practices to optimize production processes.- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data to drive decision-making.Quality Assurance:- Ensure adherence to industry standards and company quality standards in all production processes.- Oversee the inspection and testing of products to ensure they meet specifications and are free of defects.- Address quality issues and implement corrective actions when necessary.Safety and Compliance:- Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety regulations.- Maintain compliance with all relevant environmental and industry regulations.- Promote a culture of safety within the production team.Inventory and Resource Management:- Oversee inventory control and material management to ensure production materials are available without excess.- Work with the supply chain team to manage resources effectively and minimize production downtime.
