  *** Purpose
  • Planning & Warehouse Manager is responsible for ensuring uninterrupted material availability to support
  production and customer demand, while managing efficient warehouse operations. This role oversees
  Production planning and material planning (MRP), inventory control, inbound/outbound logistics,
  warehousing, and continuous improvement to achieve service, cost, quality, safety, and compliance targets,
  including alignment with relevant ISO management systems
  
  
  >> Responsibilities:
  
  1. Planning & Inventory Management
  • Develop and manage material plans to ensure on-time availability of raw materials, packaging, and components.
  • Develop master production plans (MPS) and detailed production schedules aligned with customer requirements, capacity, and material availability
  • Execute and monitor MRP/planning parameters (MOQ, lead time, safety stock, reorder point) and improve planning accuracy.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing/Suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, manage shortages, expedite critical
  materials, and mitigate supply risks.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing excess, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and physical counts; investigate variances and implement corrective/preventive actions.
  • Analyze demand/consumption trends and support S&OP activities as required.
  
  2. Warehouse & Logistics Operations
  • Manage warehouse operations: receiving, inspection coordination, put-away, storage, picking, packing, staging, and shipping.
  • Ensure compliance with FIFO/FEFO, lot/batch control, and full traceability requirements.
  • Maintain proper storage conditions and handling methods to prevent damage, contamination, deterioration, and mix-ups.
  • Oversee warehouse layout and space utilization to improve flow, productivity, and safety.
  • Coordinate transportation/dispatch activities (if applicable) to meet on-time delivery targets.
  • Ensure accuracy of all warehouse transactions in ERP/WMS and maintain supporting records.
  
  3. Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Lead, coach, and develop material planning and warehouse teams; define roles, training plans, and performance goals.
  • Collaborate with Production, QA/QC, Engineering, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Finance to resolve
  supply and inventory issues.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI), engineering changes, and phase-in/phase-out planning to avoid shortages and obsolescence.
  • Lead structured problem-solving (e.g., 5 Why, Fishbone, A3) for recurring issues and implement
  corrective/preventive actions.
  • Continuous Improvement & Performance Management
  • Establish and monitor KPIs for service level, inventory, warehouse efficiency, and compliance.
  • Drive Lean/Kaizen/5S initiatives to improve safety, productivity, and quality in warehousing and planning processes.
  • Other tasks assigned by the Manager
