1. New Model / APQP- Responsible for New Model development following APQP Phase 1–5- Control timelines, risks, and issues to meet customer milestones- Support trial runs, line buy-off, capacity verification, and SOP readiness2. Process Design / Process Flow- Design and develop process design in line with drawings, specifications, and customer requirements- Prepare and maintain Process Flow Diagrams aligned with actual production lines- Analyze cycle time, line balance, manpower, and capacity- Develop and update Work Instructions (WI) and Standard Operations- Support process changes from engineering changes or customer requests3. PFMEA / Risk Management (IATF 16949)- Prepare, analyze, and update PFMEA in compliance with IATF 16949 / AIAG requirements- Perform risk analysis (Severity / Occurrence / Detection)- Define and track action plans to reduce RPN- Link PFMEA with Control Plans, WI, and Kaizen activities- Participate in problem-solving activities (8D, Why-Why, Fishbone)4. The R&D Team Lead for Color Cosmetics will be responsible for leading formulation development for makeup products, ensuring high performance, color stability, texture optimization, and production compatibility. This role will collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to bring commercial concepts to market.Key Responsibilities- Develop and optimize formulations for makeup products such as foundation, pressed powder, eyeshadow, lipstick, blush, eyebrow products, etc.- Manage lab-scale experimentation, formula adjustments, and prototype creation based on client or market requirements.- Evaluate color matching, texture, spreading behavior, payoff, long-wear performance, water/sweat resistance, and sensory application.- Source, compare, and test new pigments, emulsifiers, binders, fillers, and innovative cosmetic raw materials.- Conduct required evaluations including stability testing, formula compatibility, texture performance, and safety assessments.- Collaborate with Production teams to support scaling up formulas and troubleshoot technical issues during manufacturing.- Prepare and maintain technical documents, COAs, testing reports, and product specifications.- Participate in client meetings, providing technical support and suggestions to achieve desired product aesthetics.- Lead, coach, and develop R&D chemists within the makeup formulation team.
