  • Manage customer requirements, expectations, and issues.
  • Maintain positive and professional customer relationships.
  • Act as the internal and external customer liaison.

  • Interpret customer component and system specifications and provide design concepts and direction.
  
  3. Supplier Relationship Management — 10%
  • Assess supplier capability and technical expertise.
  • Communicate design requirements, timing, and cost targets.
  • Coordinate and manage supplier design changes and feasibility.
  • Maintain effective supplier relationships and minimize technical issues.
  • Work with OEM customers, suppliers, and service providers on technical requirements.

  • Develop products, processes, materials, and tooling to meet program requirements.
  • Develop and maintain engineering specifications.
  • Interpret component and system specifications and establish design concepts and direction.
  • Identify product technical gaps and develop effective engineering solutions.
  • Coordinate and manage design changes.
  • Provide engineering support and in-depth analysis of production issues.
  • Implement quick, robust, cost-effective, and permanent solutions.
  • Ensure quality, safety, and manufacturing requirements are incorporated into the design.
  
  6. Program Delivery — 40%
  • Plan program deliverables, milestones, and timelines.
  • Coordinate CAD, plant, supplier, Quality, and cross-functional activities.
  • Provide high-level technical support to program teams.
  • Maintain open issue lists and drive timely closure.
  • Coordinate pre-production builds and program milestones.
  • Support APQP activities and communicate engineering changes.
