  - Understand drawings and communicate technically with customers
  - Communicate directly with customers and be responsible for negotiations based on equipment specifications and drawings
  - Understand customer requirements and develop appropriate maintenance plans
  - Provide prompt technical response in the event of defects or problems
  - Develop a regular maintenance plan and have field staff implement it
  - Support long-term stable operation of equipment through record and data management
  - Work with outside engineering firms to obtain technical assistance
