  • Job Description

    - Oversee daily production, process control, and progress tracking on the sand casting line.
    - Improve quality and yield, and reduce defects across melting, molding, pouring, and finishing.
    - Issue maintenance instructions for casting and sand-processing equipment while ensuring safe operations.
    - Manage shift schedules, staffing, overtime, and attendance for a foundry department of approximately 60 workers.
    - Provide technical guidance and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) training, and enforce 5S practices among Thai operators.
    - Resolve shop-floor labor issues and support team motivation.
    - Report production and quality performance daily and weekly to the Japanese management team, including the Factory Manager and Production Director.
    - Ensure on-site compliance with Japanese ISO standards and international certifications such as UL, FM, and CSA.

Qualifications

    Requirements
    - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
    - More than 7 years of experience in metal foundry manufacturing.
    - Hands-on technical experience with sand casting; die-casting experience alone does not meet this requirement.
    - More than 3 years of direct experience managing production or foundry teams.
    - Ability to commute within one hour; overtime is required most days.

    Advantages

Additional Information

  • Benefit

    - Meal allowance: THB 1,375 per month.
    - Overtime pay: THB 20 per 3 hours.
    - Housing allowance: THB 300 per month.
    - Perfect-attendance allowance: THB 900 per month.
    - Provident fund contribution: 4%.
    - Saturday work: Overtime is provided for 2 or 3 days.
    - Average bonus: 2 months, in December.
