• Job Description

  The EDI Product Specialist is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solutions. This role works closely with regional business and IT teams, as well as external trading partners, to ensure reliable, secure, and compliant data exchange across systems.
  
  EDI Project Development
  - Gather and analyze EDI requirements in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders.
  - Assess existing systems and partner capabilities to ensure alignment with EDI standards.
  
  Design & Planning
  - Design EDI architecture, workflows, and data mapping structures.
  - Define integration points and data exchange formats with internal systems and external partners.
  
  Development & Configuration
  - Configure EDI tools and develop interfaces (e.g. EDIFACT, ANSI X12, XML).
  - Implement data mapping, transformation logic, and validation rules.
  
  Testing & Quality Assurance
  - Perform unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  - Ensure data accuracy, system reliability, and secure data transmission.
  
  Partner Coordination
  - Coordinate with trading partners during setup, testing, and go-live phases.
  - Provide technical guidance and documentation to support smooth onboarding.
  
  Deployment & Ongoing Support
  - Deploy EDI solutions into production environments.
  - Monitor transactions, troubleshoot issues, and support daily EDI operations.
  
  Compliance & Documentation
  - Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  - Maintain technical documentation, configuration records, and user guides.
