• Job Description

  The R&D Team Lead for Skincare will lead the formulation development of skincare products, ensuring innovation, quality, compliance, and production feasibility. This role will supervise a team of chemists and work cross-functionally with Production, QA/QC, Marketing, and Procurement.
  
  Key Responsibilities
  - Lead formulation design and development of skincare products such as cleansers, serums, creams, lotions, sunscreens, etc.
  - Plan and manage R&D projects from concept to pilot scale and full-scale production transfer.
  - Conduct ingredient research, new raw material sourcing, and evaluate emerging trends in skincare science.
  - Perform and oversee stability testing, compatibility testing, functionality evaluation, and performance claims support.
  - Ensure product compliance with regulatory requirements, including documentation and product registration (FDA/Notification).
  - Collaborate with production teams to resolve manufacturing issues and support process scale-up.
  - Maintain accurate formulation records, testing results, batch reports, and technical data sheets.
  - Support client meetings and provide technical recommendations and product knowledge where needed.
  - Supervise, train, and mentor R&D staff to enhance team capability and performance.
